"El Norte (The North)" - fragments, 2003 -, installation at Artists Space (top) and Rotunda Gallery both NY.
Based on the north of Chile: its history, the site itself, a collection of images attempting to describe a place, but failing immediatly. All the works are of equal size (64 x 42 inches) they are installed vertically propped against a wall and can be installed in various combinations and amounts. The photographs are faced-mounted onto plexiglas, the drawings are done with marker on wood and the paintings are oil on wood. Total of works projected: 100
