Exhibition "Algunas Bestias", presented by Perros Negros in Mexico D.F., November 2007 (group show with Cristóbal Lehyt, Diego Fernández and Johanna Unzueta)

"Modell" consists of a curtain drawing based on a small engraving done by Paul Klee in 1931. This curtain piece was located at the entrance of the exhibition space, creating a corridor, a division between the interior and exterior. "Modell" aimed to work in several directions, conceptually and spatially functional it also presented an historic reference and simultaneously a decorative object.

"Escuela de Primavera" is a drawing also made from another drawing... this time the piece is based on the design of a Chilean political poster from the 60's, originally a silkscreen which promoted student workshops and development programs in poor communities in the south of the country. The optimistic leaf design was then transported through vinyl to a found glass panel, which was installed against a glass wall. The viewer was able to see both the piece and its surrounding, the decorative drawing and its background of pilled leftovers, open air storage of useless objects.
